What even is a Lash Lift?

Lash lifting is a multi step process that curls your existing eyelashes giving the appearance of longer and fuller eyelashes. Your natural eyelashes will look longer because they are curled and not because the lash lift grew them.

The process…

Your beautician will cleanse the eye area and pad down your bottom lashes - to ensure your bottom lashes don’t get any product on them and you an then close down your eyes and relax until the treatment is over.

A soft curved silicon rod made for lash lifting will be measured to your lash length to ensure your lashes aren’t over or under curled. The silicone rod will stay on your eyelid for the entire appointment.

A special lash balm or gentle lash lift adhesive is then applied to the rod and your lashes are very carefully pushed up onto the rod - the balm/adhesive will hold the lashes in place.

The first chemical step to relax the eyelashes hairs is now applied and left for a number of minutes - your beautician will keep account for that.

Once the time is up for the first step it is carefully taken off and the second chemical step is applied and left for a number of minutes as above - this step is what will make your lashes hold shape in their new lifted curl.

After the second step is complete and then removed your beautician would then tint your eyelashes.

The last step is a special keratin serum or oil to re hydrate the eyelashes.

The rods are gently removed and your lash lift is complete!
